| Obverse description | Central field features two large Chinese characters reading 'Jiang Jiang' (將獎, meaning 'reward' or 'prize') enclosed within a beaded inner circle. A circular legend in Chinese characters reading 安徽撫提部院誠獎 (Anhwei Military Bureau reward inscription) surrounds the beaded border, running along the upper periphery of the coin. The design is rendered in bold relief with a plain field, characteristic of emergency military issue coinage of the late Qing period. |
