Additional information

Pattern restrikes of this type were produced in the transitional chaos following the Xinhai Revolution of 1911, when provincial mints across China operated with minimal central oversight. Yunnan's mint had a history of irregular production runs, and the line between official patterns and later restrikes made for commercial sale was rarely clean. KM#Pn2 occupies exactly that ambiguous space.

The date range reflects genuine uncertainty about when these pieces left the dies.
