The legend FUNG-TIEN PROVINCE arcs along the upper periphery in Latin characters, while TEN CASH appears in a straight line along the lower portion of the field. Two small rosette or star ornaments flank the lower legend as decorative separators. The entire design is enclosed within a toothed or beaded outer border, characteristic of late Qing pattern coinage produced for the Fengtien Mint. |
