The scaled body is finely engraved with clawed feet outstretched and a flaming pearl below. A beaded inner border frames the dragon, surrounded by a toothed outer border at the rim. The legend 'AN-HWEI' is inscribed in Latin characters arcing across the upper field. The use of the same dragon type on both sides is characteristic of this mule variety, combining dies not originally intended to be paired. |
