Obverse description Central field bears four large Chinese ideograms arranged vertically and horizontally, flanked by Manchu script characters at centre. The entire central device is encircled by a border of additional Chinese ideograms forming the mint and denominational legend. The inscriptions identify the issuing mint as Fukien, the reign title as Guangxu, and the denomination as ten cash, rendered in both Chinese and Manchu scripts.
