Reverse description A sinuous, scale-bodied Chinese dragon is depicted without an enclosing circle, occupying the majority of the field and clutching a flaming pearl at centre. The dragon is rendered in high relief with prominent claws, flowing whiskers, and detailed cloud scrolls surrounding its body. The circular English legend reads 'HU-PEH PROVINCE' above and 'TEN CASH' below, separated by small decorative star stops, with a beaded border running along the coin's rim.
