| Obverse description | Central field features a circled square (方孔圓錢 symbol) flanked on either side by Manchu script characters. Four large Chinese ideograms arranged vertically in two columns flank the central device, reading right to left. A horizontal Chinese legend appears above the central device and a further inscription below, together conveying the provincial authority, reign title, and denomination. The overall layout follows the traditional format of late Qing provincial machine-struck coinage. |
