Beschrijving voorzijde	The obverse carries an intaglio portrait of the Bolivian painter Cecilio Guzmán de Rojas at right, set against a multicolour guilloche underprint in pale green and pink tones. BANCO CENTRAL DE BOLIVIA is inscribed across the upper register, with DIEZ BOLIVIANOS in bold at centre and LEY 901 DE 28 DE NOVIEMBRE DE 1986 below; the Bolivian coat of arms appears at lower left. Two facsimile signatures are placed below the central denomination, accompanied by the titles PRESIDENTE BCB and MINISTRO DE FINANZAS.

Beschrijving keerzijde	The reverse presents an intaglio vignette of the Heroínas de la Coronilla monument at left, honouring the women who defended Cochabamba in 1812, with a panoramic cityscape of Cochabamba extending across the centre-right field. BANCO CENTRAL DE BOLIVIA appears in a dark panel at upper centre, while the denomination numeral 10 is repeated at upper right and lower right within ornate frames over a multicolour guilloche background.
