Thailand's wartime alignment with Imperial Japan during the Pacific War meant that domestic printing capacity was effectively unavailable, and this series was produced entirely in Tokyo — an arrangement that left the issuing government dependent on Japanese infrastructure at a moment of profound political compromise. The absence of serial numbers and the missing signature block are not errors; they reflect a simplified emergency production protocol applied across several Thai wartime issues to accelerate output under difficult conditions.
P#59 is notably scarcer than its serialized counterparts in Series 5, largely because undistributed remainder stocks were destroyed rather than released.
