Obverse description The right portion of the note is dominated by a front-facing bust portrait of King Rama VIII set against the Crown-top Gate of Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha), with a Garuda vignette anchoring the upper centre and Thai numerals positioned in the top corners. An Arabic numeral denomination appears at the lower left, while a three-headed elephant Airavata device occupies the lower right; prefix and serial numbers are printed in red at either side of the central Garuda. The entire composition is executed in dark brown intaglio.
