Issued to mark the 80th anniversary of the Thai Boy Scout movement, founded in 1911 by Rama VI — one of the earliest scouting organizations established outside Britain following Baden-Powell's 1907 Brownsea Island camp. Thailand's adoption of the movement was unusually rapid and directly royal-sponsored, giving it an institutional permanence that scout organizations in many other countries lacked for decades.
