Reverse description At centre, within the aluminium bronze inner disc, the official emblem of the Royal Irrigation Department is depicted: a standing figure of the water deity Phra Phirun enshrined within a Thai-style flame-topped pavilion arch, flanked by two mythical Naga serpents coiling around a tiered pedestal with decorative floral scrollwork. The copper-nickel outer ring bears Thai script legends: along the upper arc the inscription commemorating 100 years of the Royal Irrigation Department with the founding date, and along the lower arc the denomination and country name. The date BE 2545 also appears in Thai numerals on the ring.
