| Obverse description | The aluminium-bronze centre features conjoined busts of two distinguished figures facing forward within the field: at left, an earlier statesman in formal attire, and at right, a bespectacled figure similarly dressed, both rendered in high relief. Floral ornamental devices appear at the left and right sides of the copper-nickel ring. The Thai legend around the ring reads the royal name and title of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX), the country name Thailand, and the Buddhist Era date 2547. |

| Reverse description | The aluminium-bronze centre displays the emblem of the Royal Institute of Thailand — a tiered ceremonial crown (Mongkut) surmounting a stylised lotus blossom with radiating petals and ornamental base, all rendered in fine relief. Flanking the emblem within the centre field are the Thai numeral ๑๐ at left and บาท (Baht) at right, indicating the denomination. The copper-nickel outer ring carries the Thai inscription commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Royal Institute, with the date 31 March 2547 and the country name Thailand distributed around the circumference. |
