Reverse description Central device within the aluminium bronze core depicts a stylised atomic symbol — a nucleus with elliptical electron orbits — encircled by a gear-like wheel bearing twelve spokes, evoking scientific and industrial progress. This emblem represents the National Research Council of Thailand. The copper-nickel outer ring carries a Thai-script legend along the upper arc reading 'สำนักงานคณะกรรมการวิจัยแห่งชาติ' (National Research Council), preceded by the anniversary numeral '๕๐' (50) at the upper left and followed by 'ปี' and the Thai date '๒๕๕๒' at the upper right. The lower arc bears the denomination '๑๐ บาท' (10 Baht) at centre, with '๑๙ กพ ๒๔๙๙' at left and 'ประเทศไทย ๒๕๕๒' at right.
