| Obverse description | Conjoined effigy of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) in three-quarter left-facing bust, wearing spectacles and formal royal ceremonial dress with decorative collar. The portrait, rendered in fine relief, occupies the aluminium bronze centre of the bimetallic flan. The copper-nickel outer ring is adorned with a continuous decorative beaded and chain border. No inscriptions appear on the obverse field, the legend being reserved for the reverse. |
