| Obverse description | Conjoined busts of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) and Queen Sirikit in right-facing profile, set within the aluminium bronze centre. The King is depicted in military uniform with decorations, while the Queen appears behind him. The outer copper-nickel ring carries the Thai-script royal names and titles as a circular legend: the King's name to the left and the Queen's name and title to the right. |
