| Reverse description | The inner disc bears a selectively gold-plated profile portrait of Vladislav Grigoryevich Ardzinba, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Abkhazia during the Patriotic War of 1992–1993 and first President of the Republic of Abkhazia. The outer ring carries inscriptions in the Abkhaz language separated by ornamental dots: АҦСНЫ АҲӘЫНҬҚАРРА (Republic of Abkhazia) arching across the upper portion, and АИААИРА (Victory) flanked by the years 1993 and 2013 in the lower portion, commemorating the twentieth anniversary of the victory. The design is framed by a dotted border running along the full circumference. |
