Reverse description The reverse presents a detailed relief depiction of the Cathedral of St. Andrew the First-Called Apostle in Pitsunda, an ancient early-medieval church of Byzantine architectural character featuring a prominent central dome, rounded apse, and arched window openings. To the left of the cathedral stands a tall processional cross surmounting an ornate staff, while to the right a decorative carved capital is rendered in relief. The circular legend in Abkhazian Cyrillic script reads 'АЦҚЬА АНДРЕИ АҦХЬАНАҦХЬАҨ ИЗКУ ПИЦУНДАТӘИ АНЫХА' along the upper periphery of the coin. Below the cathedral, the inscription 'IX ашә.' (9th century) appears in the lower field, indicating the approximate period of the monument's construction.
