To the right of the portrait, a line from one of his celebrated works is inscribed in Cyrillic script. Along the lower rim, reading from left to right, appear the birth year '1917', the honoree's name in Cyrillic 'БАГРАТ ШЬЫНҚӘБА' (Bagrat Shinkuba), and the death year '2004'. The composition is framed within a polished field with a prooflike finish. |
