Rwanda's mountain gorilla bullion series, launched in 2013, was designed partly to capitalize on the country's ecotourism profile — Volcanoes National Park draws visitors specifically to habituate gorilla troops, and the revenue matters to conservation funding. The 0.5g fractional format targets entry-level bullion buyers and gift markets rather than serious stacking.
KM#158 is the 2016 issue in that annual series. Four-nines gold at this size leaves almost no margin for error in the blanks.
