| Beschrijving voorzijde | The national coat of arms of Rwanda is centrally depicted, featuring a shield supported by two crossed traditional motifs, with a sun rising above a mountain in the upper portion and stylised vegetation at the base. The arms rest upon an open hand, symbolising national support. The legend BANKI NKURU Y'U RWANDA arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination numeral 10 appears prominently in the lower field, flanked by the Kinyarwanda inscription AMAFARANGA ICUMI. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
The "Kiwi II" designation places this within a recurring bullion microformat series, though Rwanda's role as issuer is purely administrative — these coins are produced under licensing arrangements that have made the country a surprisingly active mint client for foreign-marketed collector bullion since the early 2000s. The actual production almost certainly occurred in a European mint facility.
At 0.155 grams, the gold content is fractional to the point of being closer to a token than a coin by any historic monetary standard.
