Rwanda has periodically licensed its sovereign mint authority to bullion program operators targeting collector markets, and this issue is exactly that — a product of the Scottsdale Mint's micro-gold series rather than anything connected to Rwandan monetary policy or domestic circulation. At 0.155 grams, it contains approximately 1/200th of a troy ounce of fine gold, placing it among the smallest struck gold coins commercially available anywhere.
