The Star of David privy mark appearing on this circulation issue distinguishes it from the standard 10 Agorot pieces of the same period. These marked coins were struck specifically for inclusion in the Bank of Israel's annual mint sets rather than general circulation, a practice Israel adopted to give set collectors a visually distinguishable version without issuing a separate commemorative type. Unmixed with circulated survivors, set-only pieces almost universally retain original mint surfaces.
The KM#26c designation separates this from at least two prior compositional variants in the same design run.
