Obverse description A stylized date palm tree (Phoenix dactylifera) rendered in high relief occupies the right-center of the field, with two clusters of dates hanging beneath the fronds. To the left of the trunk, the bilingual country name legend appears in Hebrew and Arabic scripts arranged vertically. The Hebrew legend 'ישראל' runs along the lower left, while the Arabic 'اسرائيل' appears above it, both set against a plain field. The overall design evokes the ancient Judean palm motif found on Second Temple period coinage.
