| Beschrijving voorzijde | Square klippe flan struck in hammered silver, presented on point (rotated 45 degrees). Along the upper two edges runs the two-part Latin legend EXTREMVM / SVBSIDIVM ('last resort'), incuse within a plain border. At centre, the crowned city arms of Kampen — a tower with an arched gateway — occupy the field. To the left of the shield, a cartouche bears the denomination mark X½ (ten-and-a-half stuivers), and a corresponding cartouche to the right bears ST (stuivers). Below the shield, the city name CAMPEN is inscribed, and the date 1578 appears in a rectangular tablet at the lowermost point of the flan. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Plain, entirely uniface reverse with no design, legend, or device of any kind, exhibiting the characteristic flat, roughly finished surface typical of hastily produced siege coinage. The silver shows natural flow lines and surface irregularities consistent with emergency hammered production. No mint mark or secondary inscription is present. |
