| Obverse description | A highly detailed rendering of the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests within the Temple of Heaven complex occupies the central field, depicted in three-quarter frontal elevation with its characteristic triple-tiered circular roof, ornate colonnaded galleries, and broad ceremonial staircase descending toward the viewer. The architectural composition is rendered with exceptional relief, conveying the grandeur of the Ming-dynasty structure. The upper legend reads 中华人民共和国 (People's Republic of China) in Chinese characters arranged in an arc, with the character 国 appearing in a recessed cartouche at the right.
