Beschrijving voorzijde	The obverse features the official emblem of the Republic of Korea — the taeguk symbol enclosed within a stylised hibiscus (mugunghwa) wreath — prominently displayed in the upper central field. Surrounding the emblem, a circular legend in Hangul script reads along the periphery, referencing the 24th Olympiad, Seoul, the Bank of Korea, and the denomination of 10,000 Won. In the lower half of the field, a finely detailed arrangement of blooming hibiscus flowers and buds is rendered in high relief, serving as both a patriotic and decorative motif. The year '1987' appears in Latin numerals at the base of the design, flanked by Hangul inscriptions. The overall composition is executed in a refined medallic style with deeply sculpted relief against a polished field.
