Beschrijving voorzijde The obverse is dominated by a large intaglio vignette of a Scythian stone sculpture — a babai (stone man) — rendered in grey tones at centre, with a golden deer plaque motif at its base. The denomination 10000 appears in large numerals at upper left and lower centre, set against an intricate guilloche underprint in shades of violet, blue and rose. The bank title ҚАЗАҚСТАН ҰЛТТЫҚ БАНКІ is inscribed at the top, flanked by the national emblem, with the serial number printed vertically and horizontally in dark blue.

Opmerkingen

Kazakhstan's 10,000 tenge is the highest denomination in active circulation, and the 2024 issue of P#55 continues the series introduced in 2006 that progressively incorporated upgraded security specifications as regional counterfeiting pressure increased. Cotton substrate was retained over polymer — a deliberate choice given Kazakhstan's temperature range, where polymer notes have historically performed poorly in the country's severe continental winters.

The colour-shifting ink on this denomination is applied to a feature that shifts between gold and green, matching the specification used on several Central Asian issues printed through the same period.
