| 备注 |
Uganda's 10,000 shilling note emerged during a period of sustained macro-economic stress — the late 1990s saw inflation repeatedly eroding the purchasing power of lower denominations, pushing the Bank of Uganda to keep this high-value note in active production across several consecutive years. The P#41 series ran from 2001 through 2004 with only the date distinguishing successive issues, making year-specific examples worth noting for date collectors.
The watermark remains the sole mechanical security feature — unusually minimal for a note of this face value by early 2000s regional standards, when neighboring central banks were already adopting security threads and color-shifting ink.
