Beschrijving keerzijde Two juvenile badminton players are depicted in dynamic action poses at the center of the field, rendered in high relief against the deeply mirrored proof surface. The players face one another across a net, each holding a racket, evoking the theme of youth sport and child welfare. A circular design element frames the central figures. The legend '· SAVE THE CHILDREN ·' curves along the upper periphery in bold raised lettering, while the denomination '10000 RUPIAH' is inscribed along the lower arc, completing the design.

Aanvullende informatie

Issued as part of Indonesia's participation in the global UNICEF-aligned "Save the Children" commemorative program, this coin was struck in a limited proof edition and had no circulation role whatsoever. Bank Indonesia produced several such silver issues through the late 1980s and early 1990s primarily for the international collector market, with proceeds nominally directed toward children's welfare initiatives.

The .925 silver specification follows the standard adopted across most participating nations in the program, allowing uniform production contracts with established mints.
