Encircling the eagle along the upper arc is the denomination legend ДЕСЯТЬ ТЫСЯЧ РУБЛЕЙ in Cyrillic characters, while БАНК РОССИИ arcs along the lower inner border. The fineness designation Au 999 appears to the left, and the mint mark ММД is struck at lower left.
