| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in red and black on white paper, with a decorative border enclosing the full text of the obligation. The Imperial double-headed eagle arms appears at centre between the issue date of 1 August 1915 and the repayment date of 1 February 1916. The denomination in Cyrillic script is printed in bold across the middle, with the body text setting out the terms of the 5% short-term treasury obligation, two manuscript signatures of departmental officials, and a bilingual footnote in Russian and French at the foot. |
