正面描述 A portrait vignette of General Alexander Vasilyevich Suvorov (1730–1800), founder of Tiraspol, occupies the central field, set against a multicolour guilloche underprint. A bold overprint in Cyrillic script designates the revalued denomination, with the issuing authority inscribed in Russian, Moldovan, and Ukrainian across the note.

背面描述 The central vignette presents an intaglio-style view of the Parliament building in Tiraspol, framed by ornate multicolour guilloche rosettes and wavy lathe-work borders in green, pink, and yellow. A large numeral "1" appears to the left within the guilloche field, with a smaller numeral "1" and a floral ornament at the lower right. The denomination ОДИН РУБЛЬ (One Rouble) is lettered in bold Cyrillic at the foot of the central panel, reflecting the base coupon design on which the 10,000-rouble overprint was applied.

备注

Transnistria's 1996 high-denomination issue came about because the territory's rouble, pegged to nothing and backed by a breakaway administration with no international recognition, was being consumed by inflation at a pace that made smaller notes functionally useless. The Pridnestrovian Republican Bank had been issuing coupon-style emergency currency since the early 1990s, and by 1996 the denominations had climbed to reflect an economy operating almost entirely on barter and Russian energy subsidies.

A watermark is the lone security concession on this note — unremarkable for a printing operation working under the constraints of an unrecognized state with limited access to specialist currency printers.
