| Obverse description | Central polychrome enameled arms of Qatar depicting two crossed curved swords with a dhow sailing on stylized waves flanked by an island bearing two palm trees. The central device is encircled by an annular band divided horizontally: the upper white portion bears the legend 'Qatar Central Bank' in Arabic in black lettering, while the lower maroon portion carries the English translation in white lettering. The occasion inscription 'National Day' appears in the upper field in both Arabic and English, the denomination 'QR 10 000' is placed in the lower field, and the dual-script date '2007 / ٢٠٠٧' appears on either side of the central device. |
