Comments

The 10,000 Pesos Argentinos denomination existed for a remarkably short window. Argentina introduced the Peso Argentino in 1983 to replace the battered Peso, lopping four zeros off the old currency — and by 1985 was already preparing to replace it again with the Austral, cutting three more zeros as inflation continued to accelerate past any politically comfortable rate.

This note was effectively obsolete within months of issue. The Austral conversion set 10,000 Pesos Argentinos equal to precisely one Austral centavo.
