| Reverse description | The centre of the note is occupied by a large intaglio vignette of the "Creación de la Bandera Argentina" (Creation of the Argentine Flag), a historical scene in which uniformed soldiers surround General Belgrano as the national flag is raised for the first time, rendered in fine blue-violet line engraving. The Argentine national coat of arms appears in an ornate dark cartouche at the left, surrounded by elaborate multicolour guilloche scrollwork in green, red, and teal. The denomination numerals "10000" are printed in bold dark type at both upper right and lower left, with the full legend in a brown panel along the bottom edge. |
