| Obverse description | The central field features the interlaced royal cypher of Juan Carlos I — the letters J and C surmounted by a royal crown — rendered in relief within a beaded inner circle. To the left of the monogram appears the Madrid mint mark (M) topped by a small crown, and to the right a floral ornament. The circular legend reads JUAN CARLOS I REY DE ESPANA, separated by dot stops, running along the outer border. The date 1992 is inscribed at the base, flanked by rosette ornaments, completing the design in the style of historical Spanish coinage. |
