正面描述 Greenish black intaglio print on light tan underprint, with elaborate guilloche borders framing the entire composition. Two female allegorical busts — facing right at left and facing left at right — are set within ornate oval vignettes, flanking the central panel bearing the bank name, denomination in words and numerals, date, and directorial signatures. A rectangular text block at lower centre carries the state guarantee clause in Polish.

背面描述 Printed in dark greenish black on white paper, the reverse is dominated by a central circular medallion containing the crowned Polish eagle with wings spread, enclosed within concentric guilloche rings. Large numeral "10000" panels in bold letterpress appear to either side of the medallion, themselves framed by dense guilloche ornament, with the denomination in words and the anti-counterfeiting warning legend at the foot.

备注

The Polska Krajowa Kasa Pożyczkowa was a German-established institution from the First World War occupation that Poland simply kept running after independence — not out of preference but necessity, as the new state had no functioning central bank yet. By 1922, with Polish marks hemorrhaging value under severe postwar inflation, denominations had climbed to figures that would have been unimaginable a decade earlier. This note reached circulation just as the hyperinflationary spiral was accelerating toward the catastrophic 1923 collapse that would eventually necessitate the entire currency's replacement by the złoty.

Kleczewski, Półtawski, and Sowiński were all domestic engravers — the printing in Warsaw marks a deliberate push toward self-sufficient production rather than contracting foreign printers.
