| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central vignette comprising an intaglio portrait of Johan Vilhelm Snellman (1806–1881), Finnish statesman, philosopher, and Finance Minister who introduced the markka in 1860, set within an elaborate guilloche underprint. The denomination numeral and issuer inscription appear in Finnish. A blank watermark panel to the right is reserved for the security portrait. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse is dominated by a large central guilloche field with radiating lathe-work patterns in dark brown, at the centre of which is the Finnish State Arms — the rampant lion passant bearing a sword, trampling a sabre, surrounded by nine roses on a field strewn with roses — rendered in an intaglio-engraved shield vignette. The denomination numeral 10000 appears in bold figures to the left and right of the arms, with the Swedish-language issuer name and denomination legend arching above and below within the guilloche surround. A vertical ornamental border with floral rosettes runs along the left margin. |
