The upper register carries a Gutschein overprint watermark-style text and small Imperial eagle vignettes flanking the large numeral "10000" underprint. The central text block in Gothic script reads "Die Landesbank der Rheinprovinz in Düsseldorf zahlt dem Vorzeiger" above the large denomination legend "Zehntausend Mark". The lower portion states the date "Düsseldorf den 1. Februar 1923", the redemption clause, a central embossed bank seal, and the facsimile signature of the General-Direktion to the right. |
