正面描述 Yellow-orange note with an intricate guilloche underprint covering the entire field. The bank title in Arabic script (مصرف لبنان) appears at upper centre, with the large denomination numeral '١٠٠٠٠' in the upper right corner. A cedar tree vignette is rendered in an outlined box at the left, above the date inscription and Beirut place of issue in Arabic; two signature panels with Arabic titles appear at lower centre, accompanied by a lengthy legal text in Arabic at lower left. The denomination in Arabic script, عشرة آلاف ليرة, runs in large decorative red lettering along the bottom, while the word 'لبنان' in bold green guilloche calligraphy dominates the right portion of the note.

背面描述 Yellow-orange note on a geometric guilloche ground, with the bank title 'BANQUE DU LIBAN' in bold green lettering across the top, flanked at all four corners by the numeral '10000' alternating in green and orange. The central vignette presents a sculptural group — the Martyrs' Monument of Beirut — rendered in olive-green intaglio, showing standing figures rising above stylised waves and foliage. A barcode serial number panel is positioned at the lower right. The denomination 'DIX MILLE LIVRES' appears in large orange letterpress along the bottom margin, with a microprint band of repeated 'BANQUE DU LIBAN' text running beneath the top title.

备注

Lebanon's 1990s high-denomination notes were a direct consequence of the catastrophic inflation that accompanied the civil war years — by the time this note was issued, the pound had lost roughly 99% of its pre-war value against the dollar. The 10,000 Livres, which would have been an inconceivable figure in 1975, had become an everyday transaction amount.

BA International printed the series out of Canada until the firm's eventual wind-down in 2012, one of the last independent North American security printers before consolidation swept through the industry.
