The denomination L.10000 appears in the lower field, flanked by the engraver's signature DE SIMONI INC. to the left and VEROI to the right. The circular legend CITTA DEL VATICANO to the left and VERSO L'ANNO SANTO DEL 2000 to the right, with the mint mark R and date 1997 at the left field within the cartouche. The composition is executed in deeply struck high relief against a mirrored proof background. |
