The Flag of Albania — a black double-headed eagle on a red field — occupies the central vignette, flanked by a stylised musical score and an ornamental music box motif. The opening two lines of the Albanian national anthem, "Himni i Flamurit", are inscribed in the composition: "Rreth flamurit të përbashkuar, me një dëshirë e një qëllim". Denomination numerals and bank name appear at left and right within a decorative guilloche border. |
