| Reverse description | The Flag of Albania — a black double-headed eagle on a red field — occupies the central vignette, flanked by a stylised musical score and an ornamental music box motif. The opening two lines of the Albanian national anthem, "Himni i Flamurit", are inscribed in the composition: "Rreth flamurit të përbashkuar, me një dëshirë e një qëllim". Denomination numerals and bank name appear at left and right within a decorative guilloche border. |

| Comments |
Albania's highest-denomination banknote in regular circulation, the 10,000 Lekë was introduced as part of a broader security upgrade driven by concerns over counterfeiting that had plagued the earlier polymer-free series. Thomas De La Rue's involvement brought the note into alignment with contemporary European security standards, though Albania is not an EU member and has no near-term obligation to adopt the euro — the upgrade was a sovereign choice, not an accession requirement.
The TBB#327 reference places this within the Albanian central bank's own cataloguing system, which runs parallel to the standard Pick numbering.
