Beschrijving voorzijde	Intaglio portrait of poet César Vallejo at right, rendered in fine engraved detail against a multicolour guilloche underprint in green and orange tones. The national arms appear at centre, flanked by vertical security bands and denomination numerals repeated along the left margin. Three facsimile signatures appear below the central vignette, attributed to the Director, President, and Gerente General, with the date 28 DE JUNIO DE 1988 at lower left.

Beschrijving keerzijde	Central vignette presents a street scene of Santiago de Chuco, the Andean birthplace of César Vallejo, rendered in blue and green tones with colonial-era buildings lining a cobblestone street. A decorative pre-Columbian owl figurine in orange appears at lower right, complementing a large circular geometric medallion at left. The denomination in large letterpress text runs along the lower portion of the note.
