| Obverse description | The obverse is struck in the shape of a stylized money tree (摇钱树), with the field dominated by large, boldly rendered Chinese calligraphic characters reading 招財進寶 (Attract Wealth and Treasures) occupying the upper canopy portion of the irregular flan.
