| Reverse description | The reverse features a richly coloured, full-colour illustration of the Milky Way galaxy as viewed from above, rendered in vivid shades of deep blue, white, and gold. The luminous galactic bulge at the centre is depicted in warm golden and ivory tones, gradually transitioning outward into sweeping blue spiral arms punctuated by clusters of red and pink stellar nebulae. The spiral structure fills the entire coin surface to the edge, with no inscriptions or legends present, allowing the artistic composition to dominate the field entirely. The colour application achieves a striking painterly effect, evoking the grandeur of the galaxy against the deep navy of interstellar space. |

| Additional information |
Chad has no functioning mint of its own and commissions virtually all its collector coinage through European private mints — this piece almost certainly originates from Bialон or a comparable Polish or Czech facility producing the bulk of African novelty bullion. The Milky Way theme places it squarely in the astronomical curiosity series that flooded the market in the early 2020s, where sovereign names from Cameroon to Palau were licensed as issuing authorities with no monetary or political connection to the design whatsoever.
The 2 troy ounce format was the preferred vehicle for these productions, maximizing surface area for applied color or antique finishing.
