| Reverse description | The reverse presents a full-color reproduction of Leonardo da Vinci's 'Lady with an Ermine' (c. 1489–1490), rendered across the entire square field of the coin. The painting depicts a young woman in three-quarter view, dressed in a blue and red gown with decorative trim, wearing a golden headband and a dark bead necklace, her arms cradling a white ermine whose gaze mirrors her own outward turn. The color application is exceptionally detailed, capturing the Renaissance palette and sfumato shading characteristic of da Vinci's technique. |

| Additional information |
The "Lady with an Ermine" is Leonardo da Vinci's portrait of Cecilia Gallerani, painted around 1489–90 while she was the mistress of Ludovico Sforza, Duke of Milan. Chad has become one of the more prolific issuers of large-format art tribute coins through the Paris-based Monnaie de Paris and private minting partners, targeting the collector novelty market rather than any domestic monetary function. A coin of this weight never circulated — at over a kilogram, it was never intended to.
