| Beschrijving voorzijde | At the centre of the irregularly shaped planchet, a raised circular medallion bears the coat of arms of Chad in the field, rendered in fine detail with two capricorns as supporters and a wreath at the base. Five stylised bats in Chinese artistic tradition are arranged around the central escutcheon, symbolising good fortune. The circular legend surrounding the arms reads 'REPUBLIQUE DU TCHAD' above and '10000 FRANCS CFA' below, with the date '2024' incorporated into the legend. The entire coin surface is gold plated, giving the obverse a uniform warm-gold lustre. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse, shaped as a traditional Chinese dragon sailboat, depicts a highly sculptural, high-relief composition entirely gold plated. A magnificent multi-decked imperial pavilion forms the hull of the vessel, its tiered rooflines and latticed facades rendered in meticulous detail. The hull is flanked on each side by a sinuous Chinese dragon in full relief, with scaled body, clawed feet, and open-mawed head at the prow and tail at the stern. Three billowing sails rise above the hull, each bearing incised Chinese characters conveying auspicious literary phrases relating to favourable timing, advantageous terrain, and harmonious relations. The overall composition evokes traditional Chinese decorative art and symbolism of prosperity and safe passage. |
