| 背面描述 | A large long-billed bird (African green broadbill or similar hornbill-type species) perches at centre-right amid a dense vignette of banana trees and a hanging bunch of bananas, all rendered in violet intaglio on a fine guilloche underprint. | 备注 |
The Banque Centrale du Congo has issued notes under extraordinarily difficult monetary conditions — the country experienced hyperinflation so severe in the 1990s that the franc congolais itself was only introduced in 1998 to replace the new zaïre at a rate of 100,000 to one. This 10,000-franc note, spanning a production window from 2006 to 2022, carries two governor signatures across its run: Jean-Claude Masangu Mulongo, who oversaw the post-war stabilization period, and Deogratias Mutombo, appointed in 2013.
The long date range without a design change is itself telling — monetary reform energy went into stabilization rather than reissue cycles.
